Description
Modern Vehicles use a canbus system to warn you when a bulb has failed on your dashboard, and in some cases will then cut the power to the bulb. When replacing standard type bulbs with LEDs this can cause these warning lights to come on.
The solution to this is our plug and play resistors for our kits. No wiring will be involved with these, they simply plug in, in line between your kit and the original bulb plug. With these fitted, you will get no error messages and your bulbs will work correctly.
It is worth noting is that resistors get hot - and so it is always worth mounting these outside of the headlamp unit, in order that they can cool efficiently and not damage any of the inside of your headlamp unit.
